Welcome to Solano County!

Centrally located between San Francisco and Sacramento, Solano County offers a mix of rural lifestyle and urban amenities. Lake Solano Park, west of the town of Winters, is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, boasting a plenitude of recreational opportunities, including fly fishing, boating, camping, swimming, hiking and bird watching. Outdoor activities aside, each year hundreds of candy enthusiasts flock to Fairfield to visit the Jelly Belly Visitor Center, which features free jelly bean samples and factory tours. For those over 21, the Fairfield Anheuser Busch Brewery opens its doors, letting visitors in on the secrets of their Budweiser brews while enjoying free samples. Six Flags Marine World of Vallejo, a combination wildlife park, aquarium and theme park, is also another one of the county's major tourist attractions. Visitors can also learn about Solano County's history at any one of the county's museums.
